Whom have I in heaven but You?
And earth has nothing I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Search me, o God, and purge my heart of it's wicked desires for anything apart from You.
Be my strength, for I am weak.
Be my courage, for I am a coward.
Be my rescuer, for I am hopelessly lost.
Be my ransom, for I am a slave to sin.
